Product Description
SDS Plus hammer tools have a 14mm round body with a 10mm fluted spigot. It is a very widely used system, suitable for light duty with machines rated up to 4Kg or 5 Joules. Most of these hammer tools on this page are to be used in the hammer only mode. Adaptors and bit holders are designed for use in the rotate mode. K taper drill holder and core drill adapters are for rotate / hammer mode.
By allowing axial movement of the shank, SDS Plus chisels are struck directly by the machine hammer, and not through the chuck. This produces an efficient and durable system. SDS Plus Steels come in many configurations including moil (point), chisel, wide chisels, bent chisels, special purpose chisels, floor scrapers and a variety of adaptors.
