Product Description
SDS Max hammer tools have an 18mm round body with an 18mm fluted fitting spigot It is a very widely used system suitable for light to medium duty with machines rated over 5Kg or up to 25 Joules. Most of these hammer tools on this page are to be used in the hammer only mode. Snap-lock adapter and drill holders may be used in the rotate or rotate / hammer mode
By allowing axial movement of the shank, SDS Max chisels are struck directly by the machine hammer, and not through the chuck. This produces an efficient and durable system.
SDS Max steels come in many configurations including moil (point), chisel, wide chisels, bent chisels, special purpose chisels, spades, bushing tools and ground rod drivers. Tapered adaptors are available for floor scrapers and tamper plates.
